The University of Texas at Tyler’s online accelerated program allows students to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) in as little as 12 months. With flexible scheduling and a fully online format, this program caters to working professionals.
The program offers seven-week courses that can be completed on a part-time or full-time basis. Students also complete hands-on experiences in their local communities, applying their skills in real-world settings.

Credit & Transfer Policy

- ADN RNs from alternate pathways receive credit as set by the awarding institution.
- Honors: To graduate with honors, complete 15 additional UT Tyler hours (total 45 UT Tyler hours).
- To transfer an equivalent nursing course, notify the RN-BSN nursing advisor for evaluation.

RNBS 3312: Health Assessment for Registered Nurses
